Gangnam

Reputation is not the only mark of a good restaurant, though a well-known restaurant may be a good restaurant. The cleanness and taste are also important for a restaurant. Today, I went to a restaurant called Gangnam, a Korean restaurant. Before I went into the restaurant, the only thing I know about Korean cuisine is Korean pickled vegetable. The restaurant is not very conspicuous and it locates at a corner among several shops. It is next to a Vietnamese restaurant. At the last time I went to the Vietnamese restaurant, I found Gangnam.

When I opened the door of Gangnam and walked into it, I think I will like this restaurant because of the atmosphere of Gangnam. The first impression of Gangnam is a wallpaper that is full of bamboos. It makes me feel fresh and improve my favor to the restaurant firstly. On the right side of restaurant, there is black counter. There are some plants on the counter. My favorite one is purple orchid. It looks like a butterfly with purple wings. It makes me feel relaxed and alleviate my stress. In the middle, there are tables and chairs which are the same color with the counter. The left wall has some decorative patterns. It looks like waves with the blue light. Looking at the wall, It seems that I can hear the sound of waves. It is able to make me get rid of stress in my life temporarily. The decorations in the restaurant are simple. However, the orchid, the counter and the wall with patterns of waves create a comfortable atmosphere and it have the power to make you stay here. I think the other guest will have the same feeling that I have right now.

The waiter came and I ordered Bulgogi hot plate and Beef Rib soup. I did not know a lot about Korean cuisine. Therefore, I would not know how the cuisines I ordered tasted like.
The first one is Bulgogi Hot plate. This is a kind of Korean roast beef on a hot plate. There are some long thin pieces of onions, shallot and perfectly cooked beef. Some little white gingilis are on top of the cuisine. The flavor of the onions and shallots mixed the flavor of the white gingilis and beef attract me to take my chopsticks to have a try. I picked up a piece of onion. After be cooked, it is not spicy at all and it is soft and a little bit sweet. This is my favorite taste. And then, I tried a piece of beef and I have to say that the beef is perfect. It is very tender. When I chewed the beef, It is full of gravy with flavor of onions and shallot. It was so delicious that I could not stop my chopsticks.

The second cuisine is Beef Rib soup. It looked not very good. And my first impression of it is that I think this would be a normal cuisine. However, when I tried my first time to drink the soup, I knew that I was wrong. It was also a wonderful cuisine. I thought I loved it.

All in all, I think Gangnam is worthy for everyone who is interested in Korean food to have a try and they will not be disappointed.
